2020 Covid 19 Relief Western Kenya

Our pastors are on the border of Uganda in the Western region of Kenya.  These borders areas are notorious for preventing trucks from crossing thus causing a shortage in supplies and food. Covid 19 has exacerbated this issue to the point where trucks are backed up for up to 12 miles and the problem is only getting worse.  Food is in short supply and costs have risen tremendously.  Starvation amid a brutal lockdown has caused widespread panic.  The video below shows Kenyans defying the lockdown and the repercussions of that defiance.  These people just want food for their families to survive.  The lockdown by the Kenyan government has also increased the amount of police brutality toward the citizens. It seems to have given the police the right to beat and even kill the people.  Our Kenyan pastors need assistance to support their families through this perilous time.
