One of the hardest areas in Kenya to serve is the Nairobi slums. Overcrowding, shortage of food and water, violence and astronomical rent make it tough, but Pastor Job and Pastor Patrick have been very successful. They have programs that teach members and community attendees skills like sewing and table making which help provide an income for those that otherwise have no training or education. Pastor Job has a very successful women’s ministry which provides support, guidance and some food for all who attend. Pastor Patrick, when not preaching, has a benevolence ministry and assists those dying from aids and malnutrition. He spreads the gospel to those who are in their final moments of life and is often the only one who has contact with them in their final days. Due to the mandatory curfew and lockdown put in place by the Kenyan Government food is in short supply and businesses are shut down. Help is needed for a few months until this crisis passes.
There are two pastors and families in this area.
Pastor Job and his wife.
