Nambale Independent Baptist Church serves the vibrant community of Nambale, with a population of approximately 6,500. Led by Pastor Joseph Juma Musebe, supported by Helper Daniel Achakai, the church has experienced remarkable growth, increasing from 50% to 80% in membership over the past year. The church anticipates further growth, aiming for 100% next year through door-to-door evangelism and leader training.
The church operates on land and within a building owned by the Antioch Independent Baptist Churches of Kenya (AIBCK). It has access to electricity and clean water through wells and rainwater harvesting. Immediate needs include musical instruments and renovations to the pastor’s house to support continued ministry growth.
Pastor Joseph and his wife, Francesca Juma, have five children: Janelvix, Everlyne, Priscilla, Jane, and Steve, along with a dependant, Daisy Hope. The family’s annual school fees total 310,000 KES, and Pastor Joseph earns 65,000 KES from projects. Support for school fees is a significant need to secure the children’s education.
The pastor expresses deep gratitude to David Bowman, K4K, and other supporters for their generosity, which has empowered the church and family. Prayer requests include provision for school fees, growth in church membership, and resources for instruments to enhance worship.
