Kerring For Kenya

Churches in Kenya are multiplying. Pastors are training their members for ministry to plant more churches. Together, we are working to evangelize, disciple, and support the needs of various Kenyan communities. Join us as we seek to continue spreading the Kingdom of God and honor the memory of Kerri  through supporting the ministries that by God’s grace have been established.

Who we are

Kerring For Kenya was founded as a means to continue the support of the Antioch Independent Baptist Church of Karogoto in Kenya and other Antioch Independent Baptist Churches in Kenya.   The Karogoto church was built in memory of Kerri Kiker, the 28-year old daughter of Ben and Vicki Kiker of Ellijay, GA.  It is this church and other Antioch Ministries, started by Reverend David and Mrs. Elwanda Fields who moved to Karatina, Kenya in 1983 after 31 years of serving elsewhere in Africa, that Kerring for Kenya is providing support and funds.  Kerring for Kenya, Inc. is a current and valid 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in accordance with the standards and regulations of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)

Mt. Kenya Region

The Mt. Kenya Region is home to a network of Independent Baptist Churches, including KaratinaKarogotoKiamarigaIhwagi, and Mathaithi churches. These congregations are united in their mission to spread the Gospel and transform lives, serving diverse communities with spiritual growth, outreach, and community development.
The Mt. Kenya Region churches are dedicated to spreading God’s Word and addressing community needs. Common challenges include inadequate infrastructure, limited resources for outreach, and support for pastors’ families. Immediate priorities include improving facilities, enhancing evangelism efforts, and supporting community programs such as feeding initiatives and education.
How can you pray for the Mt. Kenya Region?
Pray for growth in membership and spiritual impact across all churches, provision for infrastructure and community support programs, and strength, wisdom, and financial sustainability for pastors and their families.
The Mt. Kenya Region churches remain steadfast in their faith, working tirelessly to build God’s kingdom and positively impact their communities.  You can learn more about the Mt. Kenya Region churches in the table below.

Our mission

Kerring for Kenya is an organization with a mission to help our Kenyan brothers and sisters in Christ.

We believe that helping our Kenyan brothers and sisters to be self-supporting is the best way to be good biblical stewards of our resources.  We (Kerring For Kenya /AIBC) support and train willing Pastors to become increasingly financially stable whereby they can support their families and afford more time and opportunity to spread the Gospel of Christ.  Our projects  are but a few initiatives that provide relief to our brothers and sisters in Christ.
